MODEL D-5
The Model D-5 is the latest member of the ever-popular "D" series that has become the "top of the line." This improved Model D-5 attaches to over 30 popular models of tricycle-gear singles, twin-props, and jets including Beechcraft, Cessna, Piper, Mooney, Aero Commander, Navion, Bellanca. Versatile is the word to describe the Model D-5 aircraft towbar. Redesigned from the popular D-4 model this latest addition to the towbar line adds steel gusset bracing at stress points for rugged dependability. This "top of the line" model can be used either manually or with a tug. Use of square, tubular steel couples lightweight mobility with the extra strength needed for years of dependable service. The all steel fabrication with precision machined heads is made even more dependable through the use of thumb screw
friction lock adjustments for quick change from one aircraft to another. The new Model D-5, a truly "universal" approach to aircraft towing, now comes in two lengths for further ease of use -- in a six foot and in an eight foot version. Choose the style that best fits your operation. |
MODEL H-3
The Model H-3 is the heavy bar of the Claybar line. Designed for use with executive jet aircraft such as the Learjet, Jet Commander, DH 125, Gulfstream, Citation, Falcon, Hansa Jet and MU-2, it will also provide towing capability for DC-3, Merlin IIB, and Lockheeds that tow by tailwheel. As more and more fixed base operations find the need to service the transient executive jet aircraft, Starline's Claybar Model H-3 is coming to the forefront as the answer. These aircraft require proper treatment, and this towbar has the built-in flexibility necessary to service a variety of executive jets with speed and ease. The Model H-3 comes equipped with a telescoping bar for lengths up to 18 feet and multiple precision heads for rapid, safe attachment and transport. Large wheels for transporting to and from the aircraft as
well as a large steel towing ring provide for ease in tug handling and hook-up. If your operation services executive jet aircraft, you owe it to yourself as well as to the aircraft to make the Model H-3 towbar a part of your daily operation. No finer, more versatile towbar for the money can be found. |

| MODEL A-4
The Model A-4, an updated version of the original Claybar product, continues to provide economical, efficient towing of many aircraft. This lightweight bar has the right balance of flexibility, durability, and versatility for years of effective service.
The new version of the Model A-4 will attach to over 20 models of aircraft including the tri-gear Cessnas with 5/8in towing lugs and Beechcraft models which it can handle either with a tug or manually. In addition to these, it manually handles Pipers, Mooney and Bellanca models. As a bonus, the latest version of the Model A-4 has been redesigned to allow simple replacement of bent or broken Piper pins without torching or welding. The added length of this updated version provides extra flexibility that is amplified with quick adjusting safety friction lock. Though light in weight this all-steel fabrication can be expected to provide years of dependable service. In fact, many fixed base operations have a Model A-4 that they have had for years. It may be scratched and beaten up a little…but it is still effectively performing. |
MODEL TS-1
The Model TS-1 Shock Absorbing Tug Attachment presents a completely new approach in the attempt to limit costly nose-gear damage due to rough or careless handling by tugs. Like all the Claybar products, its rugged, all steel construction is simple to operate and maintain.
The Model TS-1 utilizes a combination of hydraulic and spring actions to absorb most of the shock forces, whether pushing or pulling. Attaching directly to the tug with four bolts included, it allows flexible use with any size and model of towbar. A tug equipped with the shock absorber attaches to the towbar quickly and easily through the use of a pintle hook that provides extended effectiveness and protection. Thus, the Model TS-1 is particularly effective over rough terrain. Whether handling your own aircraft or your customers', you cannot afford to be without the protection given through the use of the Model TS-1 Shock Absorbing Tug Attachment. Limit equipment losses and repairs on your aircraft--smooth the bumps with the Model TS-1. |
